Randy Buckner is a lifelong resident of Yancey County, North Carolina, and a second-generation home builder who has been in the trade since 1977. Working alongside his father, Hugh Buckner, he gained hands-on experience in every aspect of the construction process and developed a deep understanding of what it takes to build quality homes that stand the test of time.

As the owner of Buckner Construction, Randy is known for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to doing things “by the book,” always staying current with North Carolina Building Codes and best practices. He has a rare ability to listen carefully to each client’s needs and vision, then translate that into a finished home that’s both beautiful and functional.

When he’s not on a job site, Randy enjoys spending time outdoors and with his family, taking in the mountain life that inspires his craftsmanship.

A native of Madison County, North Carolina, Clifton Hamlin has been in the grading, excavation, and trucking business since 1986. With nearly four decades of experience, Clifton has an exceptional eye for how a property should lay—from driveway placement and drainage flow to the perfect home site orientation—ensuring every project has a strong foundation and seamless finish.

As the owner of Clifton D. Hamlin Grading, LLC, Clifton is known for his precision, reliability, and results that speak for themselves. His crews bring skill, efficiency, and pride to every job, and his clients appreciate his ability to see the finished product long before the first scoop of dirt is moved.

Outside of work, Clifton is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys time at the lake and making memories with his family.
